The home and maroon away shirt was met with a mixed response as was the latest shirt which is blue with a yellow diagonal stripe across it.
Many fans say it reminds them of a Thunderbirds uniform or a jockeys shirt. Whatever the opinions I'm sure it will sell. Many fans protested that the maroon shirt was too close to red, but pay a trip into the club shop on match days and you will see them selling plenty of them.
For next season I have suggested that the club invites fans to submit designs and then vote on the new shirt. A good idea? Or would it be too simple?
