Brentford 2 Derby 1

Well it has took me a couple of days to actually finally decide to add my comments afte Saturday's disappointing loss at Brentford.

I have seen the game film and make no mistake, we got exactly what we deserved from the game and that is absolutely nothing.

Chris Martin had managed to put us ahead in the first half, but it wasn't long before the Bees took the initiative and fought their way to all three points.

The defeat has seen us drop a few places. If Wigan was a reality check and a reminder that there is still so much football left to play, this was one to reinforce the check with another wiff of coffee to smell.

We now go into tomorrow nights game with Huddersfield and Saturday's early kick off with Wolves needing a couple of wins.

All teams have a blip and those who are more successful have shorter ones.

The second centre half position is causing much debate between fans. Richard Keogh looks safe next to the right back, but his partner doesn't. That includes Jake Buxton, Zak Whitbread and Ryan Shotton.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure who is the best option.

On to tomorrow night and the visit of Huddersfield who at the weekend thumped our local rivals across Brian Clough Way 3-0. Their new manager Chris Powell, a former Ram will Im sure get a great welcome to the iPro.
