Watford 1 Derby 2

A good away win at Vicarage road does now show some real intent of achieving the goal of promotion.

Two splendid goals and another great performance from 'Man of the moment' Johnny Russell.

Jordon Ibe's oponer was top drawer and a great confidence booster for the young winger. He was persistently a threat which the home side failed to deal with.

Our second goal to seal the game was equally as good and shows a return to form of Craig Bryson. Bryson himself had to wait til the second half to see any action, but for the fans it was well worth the wait. Smashing one in from afar had our travelling fans off their feet and sensing another great win.

Derby had dominated the opening half of the match and Watford simply struggled to contain the attacking threat of our wide men.

We were made to work harder in the second half and had to dig in a bit to finally score a winner after the hosts had equalised.

Our next game is another away day. We make a trip to Elland Road to face Leeds.

In our last dozen games against them we have emerged victorious eleven times with one draw. Saturady would be a great time to extend that run.

Now we are back kn top of the division, it is time to drop the anchor and stay there.
